The Role A leading Tier 1 main contractor is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their North West commercial team. Youll be working on large-scale education projects valued at 25m+, gaining exposure to pre-construction and delivery stages while progressing your career in a structured and supportive environment. This is a great opportunity for a QS who wants to work on high-value public sector projects, with clear career development routes into senior roles. Key Responsibilities Assisting with commercial management of projects from start to final account. Preparing valuations, CVRs, and financial reports. Supporting procurement and subcontractor package management. Managing variations and contract administration. Assisting with pre-construction and tendering (Stage 1 & 2). Working closely with Senior QS/Commercial Manager to ensure projects are delivered within budget. Requirements Minimum 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor with a Tier 1 main contractor. Experience on education or large-scale public sector building projects. Good working knowledge of JCT contracts. Stable career history with progression. Keen to develop into a Senior QS role.
