Escape Recruitment is working with our client in West Lothian to recruit a Shipping Coordinator to join their established team. This is a key role supporting the efficient movement of goods across multiple transport modes including road, rail, sea, and air.What you’ll be doingCo-ordination freight and transport operationsQuality check all internal paperwork required for shipmentProduce and manage all necessary certification and shipping documentationLiaise with shipping and transport providers to resolve any issuesPrepare export reporting and complianceMaintain accurate records in the internal systemsTrack and monitor shipping spend and maintain within shipping budgetsLiaise with internal teams as requiredThe ideal candidatePrevious experience in a shipping/logistics/export coordination roleFamiliarity with multi-modal transport (road, rail, sea, air)Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skillsConfident IT skills including ERP systemsAble to work collaboratively with both internal and external stakeholders
