Senior/Expert HA/Clustering Engineer (PostgreSQL + Pacemaker) Contract: 2 weeks (likely extension) Location: Onsite (details on request)Start: Immediate We are seeking an experienced HA/Clustering Engineer to support the implementation of a high availability PostgreSQL cluster using Pacemaker on RHEL9/Linux environments. This is a short-term contract opportunity for a senior specialist who can provide hands-on expertise and guide project delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and support high availability clustering with Pacemaker and PostgreSQL.Manage hot standby promotion using OCF and asynchronous WAL replication to multiple replicas.Implement fencing (IPMI/virsh) in VM-based (non-container) environments.Configure and support RabbitMQ with HA queues (or similar message queue systems).Troubleshoot, optimise, and ensure reliable failover and recovery processes.Key Skills & ExperienceDeep expertise in RHEL9/Linux environments.Proven track record in PostgreSQL HA & replication.Strong hands-on experience with Pacemaker clustering and resource management.Knowledge of fencing mechanisms (IPMI/virsh).Familiarity with RabbitMQ HA queues or equivalent.Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Available for immediate start.What We OfferCompetitive daily rate.Immediate engagement on a high-impact project.Opportunity to shape HA design and provide technical leadership.??
