This is a unique opportunity to shape how rewards work in a fast-evolving Web3 and blockchain environment—balancing strategic compensation design (cash, equity, token) with hands-on payroll and HR operations.You’ll be based in the UK and collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, and HRBP to ensure that our reward programs are competitive, compliant, and motivating for a diverse, distributed workforce.ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Reward DesignBuild and maintain our global pay philosophy, job architecture, and salary ranges—ensuring both market competitiveness and internal fairness.Partner with Legal on equity and token-based incentives (options, vesting, liquidity/lock-up mechanics) aligned with UK and global regulatory standards.Lead annual/bi-annual compensation cycles (merit, promotions, bonus, commission, market adjustments), driving insights and manager engagement.Design tailored incentive frameworks (e.g., sales quotas, SPIFFs, project bonuses, on-chain bounties) with clear governance and transparency.Operations (Hands-on Delivery)Run global payroll end-to-end, monthly changes, leavers/joiners, coordinate with external payroll provider.Maintain HRIS data integrity; develop dashboards and insights (compa-ratio, pay gap analysis, benefit take-up rates).Support global mobility/contractor needs.Ensure compliance with employment law and internal controls.Advisory & Business PartneringGuide leaders on offers, retention packages, and reward communications.Provide managers with training and easy-to-use tools for pay and benefits decisions.Be the go-to partner for reward-related questions in a fast-moving environment.Requirements3–5 years’ experience in C&B/Total Rewards, with exposure to both compensation design and operational delivery (payroll, benefits).Proficiency in written and spoken Chinese is required (required for cross-regional collaboration)Hands-on experience with equity plans, and ideally exposure to token/crypto-linked incentives in Web3, fintech, or tech sectors.Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills and ability to translate data into clear insights;A detail-oriented operator who thrives in high-change, high-growth environments.Bonus points if you haveCIPP, WorldatWork, or other reward qualifications.Experience in start-up/scale-up companies with distributed global teams.Exposure to sales/revenue-linked compensation and quota design.Familiarity with on-chain contributor rewards and vesting/lock-up best practices.
