Engineering MachinistRadcliffeFull Time, Permanent | 40 Hours per Week | 30,000 - 35,000/annum DOE+ Monthly Attendance BonusThe Opportunity GPW Recruitment are currently partnering with a well-established manufacturing business in the Radcliffe area who are looking to recruit a skilled Engineering Machinist to join their on-site engineering team.This is a hands-on role, supporting production and maintenance by manufacturing components, setting dies, and carrying out precision machining tasks to keep operations running efficiently.The Role As an Engineering Machinist, youll be responsible for:Operating a wide range of machines including manual lathes, milling machines, radial drills, and vertical/horizontal machinesManufacturing and modifying parts for breakdowns, preventative maintenance, and project workSetting and adjusting dies for both manual and automatic pressesPerforming blade grinding using surface grinders to precise tolerancesReading and interpreting technical drawings accuratelyWorking closely with engineers and supervisors to prioritise workloads and minimise downtimeHours & Benefits:Full-time, permanent role (40 hours per week)10-hour shifts: 07:00 17:00 (Monday Thursday) OR 07:00 17:00 (Tuesday Friday)Monthly attendance bonusCompetitive salary + long-term career stabilityAbout You Were looking for someone who is:Apprenticeship-qualified (or equivalent experience) as a machinistSkilled in manual machining, particularly milling and lathe workExperienced with radial drills and vertical/horizontal machinesPreferably experienced in die setting (manual and automatic presses)Competent in blade grinding using surface grindersHighly attentive to detail, with a safety-first, methodical approachA flexible, proactive team playerHow to Apply If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, please apply now with your CV or call the GPW Recruitment team on 01744 452028 for more information.JBRP1_UKTJ
