LEARNING CONTENT EDITORContract: 12 months maternity coverBased: RemoteSalary: Up to £38,340 per annumHours: Full time, 37.5 per week, Monday to FridayDo you have experience of copy editing documents efficiently on screen to meet customer needs?Do you have experience of managing an editorial workflow according to best-practice publishing processes?Are you a skilled writer and a critical thinker with a high level of literacy and attention to detail?If so, then apply for our Learning Content Editor role at Walbrook.We are seeking an experienced Learning Content Editor for 12 months maternity cover. The successful applicant will work on a range of learning resources across our business areas. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-moving team, liaising closely with subject matter experts and learning technologists to edit, develop, update and/or repurpose content for online and print delivery. There may be the need on some projects to rewrite or ghost-write parts of texts based on research and expert guidance. You will need:sound copy editing and proofreading skills, including the ability to simplify technical content;the ability to assess the suitability of content for its intended audience and reshape it where necessary;solid writing and fact-checking skills;an understanding of the requirements for effective online learning;a willingness to work collaboratively and establish good working relationships; strong project management skills; andthe ability to work independently and effectively manage a varied workload.This role can be based primarily at home with our London office or other offsite locations specified when we would expect the post-holder to attend any necessary meetings or workshop activities on-site.We support our staff to create work-life balance which works for them and welcome candidates looking for career flexibility.
