Category Manager – Telco Location: Mostly remote (with a few office visits per month) Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance & PackagePR/006870We’re partnering with a leading IT & Technology organisation to recruit a Category Manager – Telco to join their growing Procurement & Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and manage the organisation’s telecoms category strategy, working across multiple high-value projects in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and develop the telecoms category strategy within a large IT/Tech organisation.Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and performance across key telco providers.Drive cost savings, innovation, and best practice procurement within the telecoms category.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure commercial and regulatory objectives are met.Support continuous improvement across procurement processes and practices.Key RequirementsProven experience in the telecoms category within an IT, Tech, or large-scale organisation.Security Clearance (SC) desirable, or the ability to obtain SC clearance.Strong procurement and commercial expertise, including supplier and contract management.Experience with CIPS Foundation (or equivalent professional procurement qualification) is desirable.Track record of delivering value through category management, sourcing, and supplier negotiations.
