With a turnover exceeding £1bn and a proven track record of delivering schemes valued between £50m–£250m, they are now seeking an experienced Design Manager to join their team on a flagship industrial logistics development.The RoleAs Design Manager, you will take ownership of design coordination and management throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that design solutions are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality standards. Responsibilities include:Leading design management from pre-construction through to project delivery and handoverManaging the flow of design information between consultants, subcontractors, and internal teamsChairing design team meetings and ensuring timely resolution of design issuesEnsuring compliance with client requirements, building regulations, and company standardsReviewing drawings, specifications, and technical submissions for accuracy and buildabilitySupporting value engineering and innovation in design to optimise project outcomesProducing reports and updates for senior management and stakeholdersAbout YouProven experience as a Design Manager (or Senior Design Coordinator looking to step up) within industrial, logistics, or large-scale construction projectsStrong technical knowledge across design disciplines and buildability issuesExperience working on schemes valued £50m+ is highly desirableExcellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholdersFamiliarity with BIM and digital design processes is advantageousWhat’s on Offer£65,000 – £75,000 salary plus leading benefits packageOpportunity to work on landmark projects valued between £50m–£250mCareer progression within a billion-pound turnover contractor delivering some of the UK’s most high-profile data centre and industrial schemesLong-term professional development and exposure to complex, large-scale projects
