OverviewQS Care are currently recruiting experienced Support Workers to work within a lovely care setting based in the Shirebrook area. You will work as part of a team, supporting service users with their everyday needs, whether it be helping them get dressed or washed, taking them out for the day doing activities, or just sitting with them and providing emotional support.If you want to make a change to peoples lives on a daily basis and love the rewarding feeling that comes with this, then this is definitely the role for you. This is an ongoing position.ResponsibilitiesSupport service users with daily living activities and personal care as needed (e.g., dressing, washing).Engage in activities and outings with service users as appropriate.Provide companionship for emotional support and privacy as required.Hours and PayYou will be working the daytime hours of either 07:00 to 14:15 or 14:00 to 22:00.Rate of pay is 12.21 per hour rising to 13.33 per hour after 12 weeks. An unsociable hour rate applies between 19:00 and 07:00 at 16.24 per hour.RequirementsHave 12 months experience within a UK Care Home Setting.Able to provide references covering the last 2 years of work.Have an in-date enhanced DBS check dated within the last 6 months (ideally on the DBS update service).Please attach a CV when applying for the role.We do not offer sponsorships.
