Estimator Construction / Civil Engineering Location: Northampton Salary / Pay Rate / Package: 45,000 55,000 per annum Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Estimator with construction, civils, or drainage experience to join a growing contractor in Northampton. Whats on Offer 45,000 55,000 basic salary (DOE) Career progression based on performance, not time served Supportive, collaborative working environment The Role Prepare cost estimates for civil engineering, groundworks, and drainage projects Analyse drawings/specs and produce competitive tenders Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations Conduct site visits and support post-tender negotiations Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure estimates align with project delivery plans Support post-tender negotiations and value engineering exercises Monitor industry pricing trends and maintain estimating database and tools Requirements Proven Estimator experience (construction / civils / drainage) Strong numerical, analytical, and IT skills (MS Office and estimating software) Knowledge of UK construction materials, methods & regulations Ability to manage multiple tenders independently Full UK driving licence This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Estimator to secure a long-term role with real progression.
