In this role, the successful Estimator or similar will be responsible for the preparation of detailed cost estimate for projects spanning the Civil, Groundworks and Drainage industries. You will also be responsible for the analysis of technical specifications, drawings etc in order to prepare tenders as well as assisting in post-tender negotiations. In addition to tis, you will also be responsible for both customer, supplier and sub-contractor liaison. You will also collaborate with both Project Managers and Engineers to deduce estimates align with delivery plans. Finally, you will be responsible for attending site visits as and when needed. The ideal Estimator or similar will have a background within the Construction/Drainage Industry or a related field. You will also have previous experience within an Estimator role or similar. In addition, you will have proficient numerical skills, as well as having strong negotiation abilities. You will be happy to work autonomously as well as manage multiple tenders at one time.
