You will play a critical role in evolving and maintaining our DevOps infrastructure work as part of a small and skilled team.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple stacks, drives automation, and brings deep CI/CD knowledge with a forward-thinking attitude toward emerging tools.Your key responsibilities will include:Maintain and evolve CI/CD platforms, particularly GitLab and Jenkins, encompassing the full lifecycle including; build pipeline optimization, infrastructure automation, automated deployment and testing.Contribute to custom tooling, scripts, and pipeline development, particularly in PowerShell, Python, Groovy, Bash, and GoLang.Collaborate with R&D, QA, and Internal Support teams to improve software delivery speed, testing automation and product reliability.Develop and Manage infrastructure automation using Ansible, Terraform, and secret management tools.Oversee artifact storage and packaging systems: Google Artifact Registry, JFrog Artifactory, Chocolatey.Continuously improve DevOps practices to align with industry standards and security best practices.Desirable Skillsets:Ipsotek currently numbers over 100 staff, so there are times when we need to take on multiple roles. Flexibility, curiosity and adaptability are key traits!Attention to detail, because precision matters when lives may be at stake.Good knowledge and experience of computer software and hardware, ideally in a business context.A good knowledge of Microsoft and Linux based Operating Systems.Good understanding of CI/CD methodologies.A wizard in CI/CD technologies: Git, Gitlab, Jenkins, JFrog, Docker, Helm, Kubernetes, Chocolatey, Ansible, Terraform, Virtualisation (Proxmox, HyperV, vSphere, KVM)Good knowledge in the following scripting languages: PowerShell, Python, Groovy, Shell/Bash, GoLangUnderstanding and experience with product technologies: ELK Stack, RabbitMQ, NVIDIA GPU’s.Experience with one or more cloud providers; GCP, AWS, Azure.Experience with K8 stacks: MicroK8’s, OpenShift, GKE, EKS, AKS, RKE2Proficient in English language: we are globally dispersed and English is our universal language.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: we’re (mostly) human, and civility and politeness support understanding and help things work better.MS office proficiency: Word/Excel/Teams.Appreciation of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile Methodologies.
