The Company:Our client is one of the UK’s longest-established providers of fall protection and height safety systems, delivering specialist installation and inspection services to clients across construction, retail, healthcare, education, food & beverage, and more. As part of a wider group and following sustained growth, they are now seeking a Lead Safety Technician to join their site installation team.Whether you have prior experience in fall protection or come from a general technical inspections or site-based background, full training is provided, including the opportunity to work toward an NVQ Level 3 qualification in Safety Systems Installation.Responsibilities:As a Lead Safety Technician you will install and commission fall protection products at customer sites across the UKCarry out repairs, modifications, and recertifications of systemsLiaise with site contacts and clients, maintaining a professional, service-led approachComplete inspection reports and plans identifying system complianceSupport training of client teams on installed systemsAssist with PPE inspections and identify on-site sales opportunities where appropriateCommunicate with the contracts team during ongoing worksRequirements:Experience in site-based installation, technical inspections, or safety systems (preferred but not essential)Minimum GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and MathsGood communication skills and a personable, professional mannerBasic computer literacy and ability to complete site records accuratelyWillingness to travel nationally and stay overnight as requiredTeam player with a safety-first approach and high standards of workmanshipBenefits:Competitive salary (DOE)Paid overtime and excess travel25 days holiday + bank holidays (including Christmas shutdown)Company pension schemeLife insuranceCompany phoneOvernight allowancesPaid sick leave (in line with policy)Social events and charity initiativesFull product training and progression into NVQ Level 3 Safety Systems InstallerTo apply for this exciting opportunity as a Lead Safety Technician, submit your application now.
