You will manage all rigging activities whilst on site, installation of feeders, antenna, mast head amplifiers and all other associated equipment in accordance with the Site Selection Form or equivalent documents.If as a two-person team you are looking for a new role, then this is for you!Rigging Team Leader, you will be responsible for:Ensuring all site staff are registered and booked on/off siteCompiling and completing client handover documentation to required specificationsEnsuring all site-specific documentation such as Risk Assessment, Method Statement, Dynamic Risk Assessment are fully read, understood, signed and complied with by all site staff Ensuring all site staff check all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), tools and equipment prior to use and report any defects to the QHSE departmentEnsuring all site staff report all accidents, incidents, good catches / interventions and non-conformances to the SHEQ departmentEnsuring all site staff follow the Safe System of Work (SSoW) established by project leadersEnsuring all works are completed as per site specific drawings, instructions, Scope of Works and documentation and handover pack (HOP) is completedEnsuring the rigging vehicle is operational, safe to drive and always maintained correctly with all incidents or damage reported to the transport departmentRigger (Support Person) you will be responsible for:Maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing of deployed telecommunications equipmentMaintaining in-depth, current knowledge of equipmentReporting on the full working process on fieldKeeping supplies ready by inventorying stockEnhancing department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsTakes material responsibility for the entrusted official material means - instruments, measuring instruments, materials, vehicles, and othersCarrying out installation activities on towers, roofs and hard-to-reach places observing all safety measures, using all necessary personal protective equipment and techniques for height workCandidate Experience Required:Experience in a Telecoms environment Working at height experience, and a good understanding of rigging specifications and standards for the major networksExperience of working as a 2nd Man/person in the installation of telecoms antennas, feeders, MHAs, and associated steel work etc., cabling, labelling and cable terminations, rig and testing feeders, running feeders, DC and Fibre cable, terminating feeders, installing Tray work and general rigging dutiesElectrical and Commissioning experience (desirable)Must be prepared to work and stay away from home nationally as requiredCerts Required:Advanced ClimberWorking at HeightsRescue from Towers, Masts & StructuresRooftop Awareness/SafetyRadio Frequency (RF) AwarenessEmergency First Aid at heightWinch TrainingAsbestos AwarenessClean UK driving license Benefits:Flexible working where possible23 days HolidayHotel + Up to £25/night for overnight business trip food allowance Access to Pool vehicle for business trips, expense mileage or company vehicle depending on the roleDeath in service 4 x Annual salaryBenefit hub and Cash Plan scheme Pension Plan – (Employee) Contribution 5%, (Employer) Contribution 3%
