DSEAR Process Safety Consultant – MidlandsCirca £500 per day (outside IR35 & negotiable dependent on experience) + expenses + varied & interesting contract projects / work We are looking to engage with a qualified DSEAR Process Safety Consultant on an ongoing contract basis to assist a variety of clients in managing their risks associated with potentially explosive atmospheres and hazardous materials. This will suit an individual with other clients, who is happy to add extra ongoing contract work to their portfolio with a view to the workload ramping upDSEAR Process Safety Consultant remit:Conduct DSEAR audits and risk assessments, offering practical risk mitigation strategiesWork independently to deliver high-quality DSEAR / H&S Risk Assessments across a varied client base.On average site-based 3 days a week / 2 days a week WFH (Report-writing)Develop and support implementation of safety management systemsProvide technical advice and consulting to clients across industries to include oil & gas, chemicals, and pharmaKeep up to date with industry regulations and best practiceDeliver exceptional client service and build long-term professional relationshipsClient relationship management; deal with queries & challenges effectively and appropriately, offering expert advice and solutionsDSEAR Process Safety Consultant profile:Degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or a related fieldA member of IchemE, CertIOSH, CMIOSH – or working towards this through active CPDMin 5 years’ experience in process safety, ideally within oil & gas, chemical, or pharmaDemonstrated experience in leading and chairing studies such as HAZOP, Process Hazard Review (PHR), and Hazard Identification studies. In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and standards around DSEAR (Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmospheres Regulations) & ATEX Confident developing process safety systems and offering expert consultancyFull UK driving licence + use of a carIf the above DSEAR Process Safety Consultant opportunity looks of interest, you have the relevant qualifications, skills & experience and you are happy to take on long-term contract work, then please send us your CV and one of our consultants will be in touch
