Day-to-day, you will: Service and repair HGVs and other Council vehicles Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults Prepare vehicles for MOT and safety checks Carry out welding, fabrication, and body repairs Respond to breakdowns and accident-damaged vehicles Maintain accurate records and high workshop standards Guaranteed Interview Minimum Criteria We are looking for candidates with: Level 3 City & Guilds in Heavy Motor Vehicle Engineering (or equivalent) Full UK Driving Licence with Category C entitlement (Essential) DVSA inspection & testing qualification IMI Level 3 in Electric/Hybrid vehicles (or willingness to train) Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and 12/24v systems (Experience with municipal/electric vehicles is desirable but not essential) If you dont reach all minimum criteria, but have experience as an HGV Mechanic, please do send in your CV.
