Head of Fundraising At The Scottish Bible Society, we share the Bible. Thanks to the commitment and generosity of our supporters, the Scottish Bible Society is a charity that helps individuals and communities in over 200 countries and territories around the world receive Bibles in a language they understand and in a format they can use. We are creative in supporting churches in Scotland keep the Bible central and encourage meaningful engagement to deepen encounters with God. The range of projects we either initiate here or support around the world is extensive. If you are passionate about the transformational impact of the Bible, we have an exciting opportunity for a fundraiser to lead, manage and deliver the fundraising strategy and activities of SBS. We are seeking someone to help develop and grow relationships, networks and communication channels to advance the work and objectives of SBS across all types of existing and potential new supporters. The role leads the Fundraising ministry of SBS. You will be articulate, have strong influencing skills and proven stakeholder management skills to work with all levels of staff in the organisation. This is a senior role in an organisation with a strong Christian ethos, therefore there is an occupational requirement that the post holder is a practising Christian. Full-time role based at Bible House, Edinburgh near Haymarket train station. Currently operating a hybrid model, 3 days in the office (Tue to Thur) and the option to work remotely 2 days. Out of normal business hours or occasional weekend work may be required, with time off in lieu. Salary depending on experience. Closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday 3rd October 2025.
