Flat Roofing EstimatorLocation: SurreyContract: Full-time, Permanent The Role We are seeking an experienced Flat Roofing Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive costings across a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial schemes. While pitched roofing experience would be advantageous, it is not essential.Key responsibilities include:Preparing detailed and accurate estimates for flat roofing projects.Analysing tender documentation and project specifications.Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing.Assessing labour, material, and time requirements to produce reliable cost plans.Working closely with the contracts team to ensure a smooth handover from estimating to project delivery.Carrying out site visits, surveys, and assessments where required.RequirementsProven estimating experience within flat roofing.Strong technical knowledge of the following systems: Hotmelt, bituminous felt, single ply, and liquid waterproofing.Understanding of both traditional and specialist roofing systems.Confident in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail.What We OfferCompetitive salary (commensurate with experience).Company pension scheme.Opportunities for career development within a well-established regional contractor.Supportive and experienced team environment.
