RINA is looking for experienced welding inspector to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK.Requested:Certified Welding Inspector with extensive experience in fabrication of vent hatches, hot stabs, dummy stabs, receptacles and accessoriesNDT (MT, PT, RT, UT) certified to Level II according to an independent Certification Body or Authorized Qualifying Body in accordance with ISO 9712 or the ASNT Central Certification Program (ACCP) for all relevant NDT methods.Inspector with coating inspection certificate’s such as Level II Painting Inspector NACE, AMPP, FROSIO, BGAS is an added advantage.Mechanical Degree ( Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Welding Engineering or graduate from high school in relevant branches) / certificates such as NDT, welding, coating, etc.Inspector shall have minimum 10 years of experience (minimum 5 years shall be from similar type of fabrication).Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports;Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;Location:Gateshead, UKPlease note, we can only consider residents in the UK for this positionPeriod:9/29/2025 (20 hours total - weekly visits. 1 visit per week)Contract:To Freelancer or to Inspector agencies, for ad hoc activitiesIf you have the requested experience and if you are interested, please apply in LinkedIn or send your English CV to xuerui.iang@
