Process Safety Engineer - Permanent RemoteThe role is to provide support in the area of Process Safety Expertise to UKThe ideal candidate must be proficiency in the following Process Safety topics;Process Safety ConceptsHazard identification and risk assessmentHazard awareness and characterisation associated with the system being operated and product processedProject ManagementManagement of major emergencies and emergency preparednessManagement of changeManagement of safety critical elements (SCEs)Incident reporting and investigationLegislation and regulations (e.g. COMAH, DSEAR)Codes and StandardsAudit, assurance, management review and interventionHuman factorsSafety leadership commitment, responsibility and workplace cultureThe ideal candidate8 year’s practical industrial experience (post graduate scheme or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, preferably in a process industry operating under COMAH regulationsExperience in the submission of COMAH reportsChartered member of the IChemE (or other accrediting body) or actively working towards.Track record of effective performance in a ‘matrix management’ environment
