Owen Reed is looking to recruit a General Office Team Leader to join our Operations department for a top law firm in Birmingham. This is a permanent, full-time role and will be based 100% in the office.The RoleThe General Office Team Leader will play a key role in overseeing essential operational services and ensuring the smooth running of the Birmingham office. Responsibilities will include:Managing and training a General Office Assistant to deliver workplace services.Overseeing incoming requests through task management systems.Reviewing and adjusting resource allocation to meet business needs.Promoting best practices and managing change effectively.Coordinating facilities and maintenance requests.Liaising with the Front of House team for reception cover and support.Ensuring staff kitchens are fully stocked with catering supplies.The CandidateThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:Previous experience in a similar role within a professional services environment.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.A proactive and positive attitude with the confidence to use initiative.Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.A polite, professional, and approachable manner.
