This is a unique opportunity to volunteer to help shape the future of Twinkl’s Inclusion (SEND and EAL) strategy by offering your expertise, lived experience, and fresh perspectives. We are seeking passionate individuals, either professionals or representatives of specialist organisations, trusts, associations, or charities, to join our board and positively challenge our inclusion team. As a board member, you will contribute to strategic discussions, share insights, and help ensure Twinkl’s resources and products meet the diverse needs of learners and communities. This voluntary role offers a meaningful opportunity to discuss key issues in the landscape with knowledgeable peers to drive change and support over 6 millions educators, parents and their learners worldwide. What Will You Be Doing?Collaboration and CommunicationYou will attend 4 virtual meetings per year Collaborate with fellow board members and Twinkl stakeholders to ensure a unified inclusion approach. Represent diverse communities respectfully and advocate for equity in education. Maintain strict confidentiality of all board discussions and documents. Market MonitoringPerform regular horizon scanning of inclusive education trends and policy updates. Monitor DfE guidance, Ofsted reports, and global inclusion frameworks to identify opportunities for Twinkl’s Inclusion strategy. Innovation and Idea GenerationIdentify and champion “brickwall” opportunities to improve accessibility and representation. Generate bold ideas to address barriers faced by SEND and EAL learners. Positively challenge Twinkl’s inclusion team to think creatively and ambitiously. Research and GuidanceStay current on SEND and EAL pedagogy, neurodiversity research, and EAL education strategies. Share relevant findings and best practices with the board and Twinkl teams. Provide expert guidance to ensure inclusivity is embedded across Twinkl’s content and services. Strategy and PrioritisationContribute to the development and review of Twinkl’s annual inclusion strategy. Help prioritise initiatives that address the diverse needs of learners and communities. Ensure SEND and EAL perspectives are represented in strategic decisions.
