Network Support Transport Manager Northampton, Middleton & Kettering. 40-50K Full time perm position The Transport Manager will manage the day-to-day transport operation, provide effective management of resources. Your role will involve working and aligning with a team of managers, supervisors, and drivers, and implementing strategies to enhance operational performance, fully adhere to all legal compliance requirements, Safety and customer satisfaction as aligned to the company's strategic 4 pillars. Skills, Qualifications and Experience: Experience of managing financial P&L's and driving financial performance and accountability through teams. Experience using a broad range of industry leading Transport Management Systems and other support systems such as Maintenance, Planning and Tachograph applications. Experience of managing multiple internal and external stakeholders. Experience of managing people effectively. National CPC holder Strong decision-making skills. Experience of managing in a large site-based multi customer transport operation and delivering innovation within the operation for the wider benefit of the business (desirable) Experience of central transport functions and understanding the role and support given to local site teams (desirable) Experience of a culture of continuous incremental improvements.
