Contracts Manager Passive Fire Protection Location: Leicester Salary: 55-65k + Package Full-Time | Permanent We are recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist contractor in Passive Fire Protection , who are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of multiple high-profile contracts, working with a business that prides itself on quality, compliance, and long-term client relationships. The Role As Contracts Manager , you'll oversee the full lifecycle of multiple passive fire protection projects, from handover through to completion. You'll be the driving force behind project delivery ensuring compliance with industry standards, managing teams on-site, and building strong client relationships. Key Responsibilities Lead multiple passive fire protection contracts from project handover through to completion Manage the full contract lifecycle including negotiation, administration, compliance monitoring, documentation, and close-out Oversee health 'safety documentation (RAMS, ITPs, QA/QC, site records) Ensure strict compliance with IFC third-party accreditation, ASFP membership, and ISO 9001 standards Provide technical leadership on-site, managing operatives and ensuring quality and compliance of installations Act as the main client contact, supporting business development and representing the company at client meetings and industry events Support estimating/Pre-Con with drawings reviews, quotes, cost estimations, and tender proposals Work closely with the Commercial Department on monthly project AFPs, weekly wages, and site-based variations Support the SHEQ department in maintaining compliance with health 'safety policy and legislation Qualifications & Experience 35+ years' experience in Passive Fire Protection (preferred) or construction contract management with a track record in delivering multiple projects Strong understanding of fire stopping systems, materials, and passive fire protection regulations HNC/HND or Degree in Construction (NVQ Level 6/7) Relevant professional qualifications (IFE Level 2/3 in Passive Fire Protection or recognised fire safety/management certifications) Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence Skills & Attributes Excellent leadership and organisational ability with keen attention to detail Strong communication, negotiation, and client relationship skills Commercially aware with problem-solving mindset and integrity Quality-first ethos with a drive to get it right the first time Collaborative, resourceful, and proactive team player What's on Offer Competitive salary + car/allowance + benefits package Opportunity to work with a respected, accredited specialist in passive fire protection Career progression within a supportive and growing business TPBN1_UKTJ
