7.5 TONNE DELIVERY DRIVERS WANTEDNEW PASSES ACCEPTEDSteer Staffing are currently recruiting for 7.5 tonne Delivery Drivers, to join a distribution and delivery company based in Wednesbury.You will be delivering customers orders to their houses and office sites, working with a Drivers Mate to support you on all deliveries and route plans are put together for your daily, along with you vehicle been loaded with the products.The shifts are 5 days on and 3 days off, the days will be on a rota basis, with two 30-minute breaks, morning, and afternoon.A DBS check will be required for this role.The duties of the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver include:Lifting heavy items and completing a multi-drop driving roleEnsuring the right products get to the right places at the right timeInstalling a range of various products for our customersMaking every customer encounter memorable. Yes, you will need to love driving and being on the road, but you will need to love helping customers too.Following a delivery routePre calling customers before arrivalFilling in paperwork as and when requiredRemoving all packaging from each deliveryThe ideal 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will have:Experience within a similar roleNew passes are acceptedA full Class C1 UK/EA licence with no more than six penalty pointsCPC card (and Ideally) Tachograph cardA passion for delivering great customer serviceThe ability to handle heavy goodsA clean DBSThe hours of work for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver are 5 days on 3 days off, the working days cover any 5 over Monday Sunday, you must be available to work between the hours of 6.45am 6.15pm, if the deliveries are completed early, you will finish early.The salary for the 7.5 tonne Delivery Driver will be 13.60 per hour / 35,360 per annum depending on the hours workedJBRP1_UKTJ
