Whilst regular work is not guaranteed, applicants can give as much or as little availability as they wish. We are looking for caring individuals who have a fully flexible approach to support in line with demand, ideally with experience within a medical or nurse-led service.You should possess excellent communication and organisational skills and be able to adapt to working in different environments. We expect all Bank staff to be reliable, to offer flexibility and to have enthusiasm for the role. Successful applicants must possess excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team.Working for our organisationFor the Nurse Bank it is desirable to have had a minimum of six months paid working experience as a Care Assistant / HCA either in a care home or hospital setting. A minimum of six months voluntary or unpaid care experience will also be considered. Care experience will need to be demonstrated within the application and interview. Duties should include some of those listed in the attached Job Description, with clear experience of providing personal care as part of the role.
