A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join our client a growing beauty and home-ware brand as a Merchandising Assistant. This is a varied role within a small, passionate team where you'll support everything from product planning and stock management to logistics and commercial reporting. You'll be involved in maintaining product data, monitoring sales and stock levels, supporting promotions, and working closely with suppliers and factories worldwide to ensure smooth deliveries. Strong organisation, attention to detail, and confidence with numbers are key, along with the ability to interpret data and provide insights that help drive commercial decisions. This role offers hybrid working. Main responsibilities will include: Assist in creating and updating product listings, line sheets, and order forms. Support range planning and product critical path, ensuring accurate data entry Monitor sales and stock levels, producing weekly and ad-hoc reports Assist with pricing, promotional activity, and allocation to retail partners. Analyse sales, stock, and financial data to identify trends and support commercial decisions. Provide clear and accurate financial summaries to support forecasting and decision-making Work with global factories and logistic partners to manage shipments and resolve delivery issues Support inventory control by reconciling stock levels and assisting with reorders Maintain accurate documentation such as purchase orders, shipping paperwork, and invoices Provide general administrative and organisational support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations Person Specification: Experience in a similar role for a retailer required An interest in Beauty and home required experience in this area not essential Strong organisational and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detail Ability to interpret data and use insights to support decision-making Good numerical ability, comfortable working with spreadsheets, reports, and financial data Clear communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with global factories, suppliers, and retail partner Work collaboratively in a very small team, supporting colleagues across merchandising, supply chain, logistics, and commercial functions as needed Take a proactive role in problem-solving and ensuring smooth coordination between internal teams and external partners TPBN1_UKTJ
