Job OverviewWe have an exciting opportunity for aSenior Substance Misuse Nurseto join our team atHMP Leeds , acategory B men's prisonlocated in Gloucester Terrace, Armley, Leeds, West Yorkshire. Join an integrated, friendly team that values a strong culture and sharedPPG values . There are ample opportunities to develop into a specialist role withinHealth in Justiceand primary care nursing. Hours and Salary37.5 hours per week, with a flexible mix of day and night shifts (7am-8.30pm for days, 8pm-7.30am for nights). Weekends are one or two per month. The salary is up to£48,000 per annum FTE , depending on experience. Employment offers are subject to vetting and security checks. Qualifications and ExperienceRegistered nurse with current NMC registration Evidence of CPD RCGP 1 in Substance Misuse or willingness to undertake Leadership experience Experience with opiate-dependent patients and dependencies Sound clinical knowledge of substance misuse Experience in hospital, community, or prison environments is desirable but not essential.
