We encourage you to apply ASAP as vacancies may close early!Key ResponsibilitiesLead the day-to-day management of the dispensary and supervise the teamEnsure delivery of a safe, efficient, patient-focused dispensary serviceComplete regular accuracy checking sessions and support trainingSupport the clozapine clinic team with timely preparation of medicinesContribute to development and implementation of pharmacy servicesReview dispensary skill mix and working methods to improve service deliveryEnsure KPIs are relevant, reported, and used to drive improvementsSupport and supervise pre-reg Pharmacy Technicians and support workersManage and develop Band 5 Pharmacy TechniciansPromote high standards through training, supervision, and maintaining SOPsInvestigate near misses and quality issues, implementing improvementsLiaise with procurement, wards, and the wider pharmacy team for smooth operationMaintain professional development and participate in clinical supervisionContribute to recruitment, training, and appraisal of dispensary staffAbout Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust We are a specialist mental health and community health services trust, rated ‘outstanding’ by the CQC.
