The PostThe Central Legal Office (CLO) is part of NHS National Services Scotland. CLO provides legal services to the NHS in Scotland and to the wider public sector. This post is an exciting opportunity to work in the CLO Litigation Department as a solicitor, delivering a comprehensive litigation service to the NHS in Scotland. The Department requires a solicitor to support Scottish Health Boards in matters relating to clinical negligence litigation, Judicial Review and Petition procedure work, and responses to various Public Inquiries. The CandidateYou will have an interesting and diverse workload, and you will enjoy all aspects of contentious and non-contentious legal work. You will be a team player and enjoy working in a supportive, collegiate environment. The posts are suitable for a qualified solicitor with some post-qualification experience. The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme/ Disclosure Scotland check. Any candidate who has lived or worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency. Location and Working PatternGyle Square, Edinburgh. Currently hybrid working with in-person attendance at Gyle Square expected. Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week.
