Carpentry Factory Assistant Basildon | 14.95 per hour | MonFri | 42.5 hours | 8am-5:30pm We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Carpentry Factory Assistant for a temporary position with a view to go permanent for the right person. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for goods in and goods out, wrapping goods and palletising. This is a great opportunity to gain hands on experience in a busy factory environment while working as part of a friendly team. Key Responsibilities: Manage goods in and goods out operations Wrap and palletise carpentry products for delivery Operate a Counterbalance Forklift to move stock and materials Assist with loading and unloading deliveries Maintain a clean and organised factory environment Follow all health and safety procedures Work effectively as part of a friendly team Support general factory and production tasks as required Ensure accurate handling and safe storage of materials Requirements: Basic understanding of carpentry in a workshop environment Willingness to learn and work in a team environment Physically fit and able to lift/move heavy items A counterbalance forklift licence is desirable not essential Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Previous factory or manual labour experience Ready to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in?
