Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Machine Learning Researcher to join our groundbreaking audio technology research team in London. You will have the opportunity to be part of building new, exciting, audio technologies that will be used by thousands of people across the world. You will contribute to our R&D team as a researcher on the audio super resolution research track. If you are an experienced ML/AI Researcher with a strong academic background and prior experience using a variety of ML models on audio data give us a shout!Key aspects of the role will include:Conducting research on deep learning applied to audio super resolution, going beyond the state of the art Evaluating and stress-testing AI/ML models to ensure they are real-world ready and suitable for productionExpanding our ML algorithm suite, while maintaining our minimal memory consumption and low processor overheadImplementing and training models for deployment across GPU, CPU and NPU architecturesCovering all aspects of modern ML workloads, including model research, implementation, training, evaluation, inferenceCommunicating results internally with colleagues from different teams, and externallyWriting internal reports and research papersRequirements:MSc/PhD degree in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics, or related disciplineExtensive knowledge of Machine Learning and deep-learning conceptsStrong background in real-time audio machine learning research, including knowledge of conventional architectures like CNNs and RNNs as well as bleeding edge architectures such as state space modelsExcellent Python programming skillsExpert in at least one popular machine learning framework such as PytorchKnowledge of real-time audio signal processing and/or real-time machine learningProven experience of applying and optimising AI/ML techniques and algorithms in a product-driven environmentPreferred:Experience in music or speech source separation—personalised speech separation would be a plusBackground in musicWe encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement; your unique experiences and perspectives can bring great value to our team.
