Avionic FitterLocation: OxfordContract: 3 months (high chance of further extensions)Work Pattern: Mon - Fri / 08:00 - 17:00 / 40 hours per week.Pay Rate: £21.05 Per hour (PAYE)Overview:This role involves supporting aircraft installation and maintenance activities, ensuring safety, airworthiness, and compliance with engineering standards. You’ll work closely with supervisors, engineers, and design teams to deliver high-quality avionic solutions.Key Responsibilities:Install, repair, and maintain avionic systems and electrical loomsInterpret wiring diagrams and design data accuratelyPerform off-aircraft workshop tasks and assist with hangar operationsSupport aircraft movements and general housekeepingEnsure health 'safety compliance and use of PPECollaborate with design office and contribute to continuous improvementRequirements:Experience with helicopter systems and confined space workSkilled in soldering, crimping, and continuity testingFamiliarity with specialist test equipmentAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFlexible, reliable, and detail-orientedComfortable with shift patterns (allowance payable)IT skills (Google Workspace, SAP, MS Office – desirable)Qualifications:Formal aviation apprenticeship or equivalentExperience with Airbus HelicoptersValid driving licensePlease apply now and a Recruiter will contact you within 48 hours.
