If you join our team, you’ll be contributing to building the technology that powers the future.About the Role We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Legal Assistant to join our growing in-house legal team. You will work closely with legal counsels and cross-functional stakeholders across the business, providing essential administrative, document management and operational support in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.This is a unique opportunity to join a cutting-edge technology company at a pivotal stage in its growth and play a key role in helping to build a world-class legal function.You're comfortable managing competing priorities with efficiency and attention to detail, supporting legal processes across corporate transactions, governance and financing matters.You bring a proactive, service-oriented mindset and are confident engaging with stakeholders across functions to ensure legal operations run smoothly and deadlines are met.You have strong document management skills, familiarity with legal terminology, and the ability to support review, execution and filing processes involving complex legal materials.You’re highly organised, take initiative, and maintain meticulous legal records, helping to ensure compliance and operational excellence within the legal function.You’re a self-starter, curious, and quick to learn—able to anticipate needs, ask the right questions, and adapt in a dynamic and scaling business environment.What You’ll be Doing You will support the legal team in the drafting, formatting and review of a broad range of legal documents, including NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, board resolutions and corporate filings, ensuring accuracy and consistency across materials.You will manage legal documentation workflows, including version control, e-signature processes (e.g. DocuSign) and digital and physical filing systems, helping to ensure smooth and compliant execution of legal processes.You will assist with the administration of corporate governance activities, including preparation of board and shareholder documents, maintaining company registers and supporting Companies House filings and other regulatory submissions.You will help coordinate the legal aspects of commercial transactions, due diligence processes and contract negotiations by preparing documentation, tracking deliverables and liaising with internal stakeholders.You will liaise with teams across the business — including Procurement, Sales, HR and Finance — to support compliance with internal policies and external legal and regulatory requirements.You will conduct basic legal and regulatory research relevant to the AI, cloud computing and data privacy sectors (with guidance), supporting the legal team’s ability to respond to emerging risks and opportunities.You will maintain and continuously improve legal templates, trackers and internal knowledge management systems to support efficiency, consistency and scale.You will provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, organising legal training sessions, coordinating with external counsel and assisting with legal budget or invoice tracking where needed.About You 3+ years' experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal in a fast-paced in-house legal team or law firm, ideally within the technology or cloud services sector.Strong understanding of legal processes, corporate governance and contract management, with the ability to support complex workflows efficiently and accurately.Excellent document management and organisational skills, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality in all aspects of your work.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, as well as legal tools such as DocuSign (or similar platforms) for document execution and workflow management.Familiarity with UK corporate law, data protection (including GDPR), and commercial contracting principles.Experience working in a high-growth, tech-enabled environment is a strong plus.Legal qualifications (e.g. CILEx or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.Key Attributes: Proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.Able to thrive in a dynamic, scaling environment with shifting priorities and evolving processes.Strong communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively across teams and functions.Discreet, trustworthy and reliable when handling sensitive or confidential information.Collaborative and eager to contribute to the growth and evolution of a high-performing legal function.What We Can Offer YouAt Nscale, you'll find a collaborative, supportive, and innovative environment where your contributions spark real impact.
