Product Owner-Retail-Ecommerce-CheckoutWe are seeking an experienced and hands-on Product Owner with B2C/D2C retail Ecommerce and checkout experience to join our retail cluster.6 month FTCHybrid 2 days per week in the officeAbout the roleWorking within the online team, as a Product Owner, you will be responsible for driving digital roadmaps to support our Digital Marketing team and their future growth. From defining MVPs and user stories, to commercially detailing project success metrics and KPIs before go live.Key SkillsB2C/D2C retail e-commerce/hospitality industry with tangible product purchase experience. May also work - intangible digital product entitlement purchase or transferable skills from B2B retail, other industries, SaaS projects.Standout candidate will have exposure to some checkout and associated capabilities: registered customer/create account/guest checkout, basket/cart, discounts/promo codes, tax, address book, marketing prefs, saved payment methods (card, store credit account), fulfilment (e.g. home delivery, in-store collection), thank you page, order comms, order history, order trackingSome understanding of page/event tagging and checkout metrics (abandoned basket, cart conversion, AOV, etc)Nice to have: Understanding of payment regulation standards, direct/indirect payment flows, API integrationsProject Management Agile methodologies, backlog prioritization, stakeholder communication.Privacy & Compliance Awareness Understanding of data protection laws and consent frameworks.Communication & Collaboration Ability to bridge gaps between marketing, development, and analytics teams.
