We support water utility companies working on sewage sites across the United Kingdom.Requirements:Must hold current valid UK driving licence and ideally have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence.Able to carry out work some distance from base whichwillrequire overnight stays.Able to work outside on sites whichare connected withwastewater (Sewage).Capable of working at heights from scaffold platforms,ladders,or mechanical equipment.Undertake training and work as part of a confined space team.Able to carry out work tasks that involve physical strength, stamina, standing,kneeling,or crouching.Must take pride in his vehicle and keep it clean,tidy,and serviceable.Competence and Qualifications:C+E/HGV 1 licenceLOLER 1998 appreciation and awarenessValid drivers CPC and Digi cardCrane Operators licenceConfined spaces to City and GuildsisdesirableSlinger/crane supervisorMechanical Engineering backgroundis desirable.Skills & Attributes:At least 2 years Class 1 driving experienceQualified crane operator with experienceExperience of British Standard Code of Practice for the safe use of cranes BS7121Experience of loading flatbed wagons and securing loadsBasic knowledge of industrial mechanical fittingBasic Knowledge of Health & Safetyissues in connection with the construction industry.Ability to prioritise workload and work in a systematic and organised manner to ensure work is completed within set timescales.Be friendly, professional, reliable with good people skills who enjoys supporting and working as part of ateam.Able to communicate effectively to the customers, company management 'staff.To work as part of a team and to co-operate with other staff / trades.Conduct the work activities in a professional manner and promote a positive image of the companyKey Duties:Weekly driving/operatingcrane and working on sewage treatment sites - therefore the role will entail being away from home Monday to Friday on a regular basis.You willbe requiredto take the lead role in all lifting operations and securing loads andbe responsible forthe day-to-day maintenance of the lorry and crane. Working week will involve lifting,removing,and installing machinery plus working as part of the Mechanical/electrical engineering team that is likely to involve some manual fitting work.Workingoutside in all weathers. PPE clothing will be provided.Overnight staysin the cab of the lorry.
