Job Opportunity: Domestic Gas Engineer Location: SG Postcode Sector: Social Housing / Housing Association Position: Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer Example Recruitment Group is currently working with a well-established national heating contractor specialising in the local authority sector. They are seeking a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to cover the Aylesbury & Oxford. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs, and maintenance within domestic social housing properties on a Housing Association contract. Key Responsibilities: Carry out annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR) Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH records Requirements: A minimum of 2 years experience with gas qualifications Extensive experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, as well as strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and repair skills In-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1 Full UK driving licence No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out upon offer of employment) Salary & Benefits: 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday) Additional overtime and weekend work available at enhanced rates Van, tools, PPE/uniform, and PDA provided Salary: 38,000 rising to 40,000 per year after probation Out-of-hours call-out rota (1 week in 4) paid 600 per week during winter (October to March) and 400 per week in summer (April to September) guaranteeing an additional 7,000 per year on top of salary OTE 45,000+ per annum 25 days holiday plus bank holidays Pension scheme To apply for this role, please submit an up-to-date CV, and one of our team members will be in touch.
