We are looking for an experienced GIS strategic thinker with a proven record of effective delivery. The ideal candidate will combine a strong drive to modernise with a passion for improving the environment.ResponsibilitiesSupport the GIS Manager and Senior Team Leader; act as one of two technical leads for the team.Work with colleagues across the Environment Agency, DEFRA and external partners to evolve Geospatial Services.Coordinate delivery with our service leads to ensure aligned, timely delivery.Contribute to a joined-up, modern suite of corporate geospatial services and manage access to ArcGIS Online (AGOL).Work with tools including Easimap, in-house GIS view and query tool, ArcGIS Pro, EAMaps, and ArcGIS Enterprise.Experience/Skills RequiredExperience of delivering Enterprise Geospatial Services.Evidence of ability to set a strategic direction and coordinate tactical delivery.Ability to work with a wide range of customers and partners.Experience of working with ESRI products.DetailsContact and additional information: Please note that your answers to the questions will be used to determine selection.Training and incident response duties are required; incident response is an essential part of working for the Environment Agency.There are no base location requirements; the role can be fulfilled via remote working.For more information on the role, employee benefits and Environment Agency work, download the candidate pack.
