Job DescriptionLocation: Brooklands Nursing Home, 66 Hospital RoadCould you imagine delivering an enriching activities programme for the elderly in the heart of your community?A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Activities Therapist to organise and deliver a programme of activities which will enrich the lives of our residents in Brooklands Care Home, Magherafelt.Hours: 30 hours per weekSalary: 22k per annumConway Group Healthcare is a family, caring for other families. We have 8 Care Homes providing Nursing and Residential Care in local communities across Northern Ireland. We provide a home from home experience for our residents; our team are friendly and welcoming and our residents are at the heart of everything we do.The RoleCo-ordinate and deliver an innovative programme of social activities for our residents throughout the yearActivities should be person centred, catering to a range of individual preferences across a broad spectrum of activities including but not limited to; beauty, relaxation, arts & crafts, music and theatre.Responsible for ensuring that all associated documentation is completed and evidenced in line with our standards.Fundraising will be required and therefore previous experience will be an advantage.Candidates must be enthusiastic, motivated and have the skills necessary to ensure a varied programme of both group & one to one activities are provided to our residents.About The RoleWe need someone who will be able to provide social activities to our residents in either a group situation or on a one to one basis.
