Job Title

The Room Leader is a qualified childcare professional with responsibility for the day-to-day running of their room, they perform an important role caring for children, maintaining a high quality, stimulating learning environment, supervising staff and imparting their knowledge and skills to others. The Room Leader should act in a supportive role to the Manager/Deputy Manager, where their contribution to ideas and overall development of the setting is welcomed and valued.ResponsibilitiesTo create a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment.To ensure work is equally shared between room members.To adhere to policies and procedures.To organise the designated room with a system that helps organisation for the staff and children.Skills and QualificationsMust have level 3 childcare or above.2 years' experience in a similar role or day-care setting.Safeguarding and child protection.Health and Safety awareness.Fire awareness training.Paediatrics first aid (Must be completed before start date if offered the role)Further InformationTo apply, please submit your CV or call 07831957662 to request an application form.
