We are on the scout for a on the scout for a Workato specialist to work primarily remote for our client in Sheffield. This role is to join a saas company that deliver gaming changing tools to aid in the efficiency of our beloved education system. You will be required to attend the office once a week, so please ensure you are able to get to Sheffield. The Opportunity We are seeking an Integration Specialist (Workato) to strengthen our technology team. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage automation and system integrations using Workato. By reducing manual effort, improving data flows, and connecting critical business systems, you will directly contribute to our mission of empowering education professionals through innovative digital solutions. This position requires strong technical expertise as well as the ability to work closely with non-technical stakeholders across finance, operations, and other departments. You will act as the link between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring solutions are both effective and user-friendly. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain automation workflows and integrations in Workato. Translate business requirements into clear technical solutions, ensuring integrations meet stakeholder needs. Manage Workato recipes, triggers, and actions while adhering to best practices for documentation, testing, and version control. Collaborate with multiple teams to identify automation opportunities that reduce workload and improve efficiency. Support integration projects involving ERP systems (e.g., FinancialForce or similar). Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., Python, SQL) to extend integration capabilities. Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and continuously optimise integrations. Provide training and guidance to business users on Workato features and dashboards. Stay current with Workato updates and apply new functionality where required. What Were Looking For Proven experience delivering end-to-end integrations with Workato. Strong background in API integrations, including custom APIs. Practical expertise in building and managing iPaaS solutions within a business. Solid data handling and scripting skills (Python, SQL, etc.). Ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical colleagues. Knowledge of ERP processes (FinancialForce or similar). Bonus: experience in learning platforms, subscription models, or B2B SaaS. Bonus: experience in education technology or e-learning. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred. Workato certifications are a plus. Why Join Us?
