Product Owner Product Owner - Inventory Management Domain, Agile, SAFe, Scrum, Full SDLC, Software Development, Product Lifecycle, Product Vision, Product Roadmap, Product Backlog, Release Planning - Hybrid (Manchester) - to 50k + bens My client has an urgent need for an experienced Product Owner with full product lifecycle experience to take responsibility for the delivery of a new complex and responsive software product across web and mobile platforms. Strong experience of an Agile/ SAFe/ Scrum software development environment in an Inventory Management domain is essential. Product Owner Role and Responsibilities: - Work collaboratively with all stakeholders on new software features and products - Pro-actively work on evaluating feature ideas and enhancements to form a prioritised roadmap - Manage the product backlog to ensure that Scrum teams always have a minimum of two sprints worth of work prepared and produce high-quality written features and user stories - Plan releases and help to build and maintain burn-up charts to track delivery of delivery and timeline estimates - Adopt a user-centred approach to market analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement Product Owner Skills and Experience: - Substantial experience in a Product Owner role with full software development lifecycle (SDLC) expertise - Domain experience in Inventory Management is essential - In-depth understanding of the Agile (SAFe or Scrum) methodology with strong technical understanding of product development - Detailed experience of the Discovery phase of new product development - Clear expertise in managing product roadmaps, product backlogs, release planning and market analysis - Ability to build strong relationships with peers and software development/ testing teams and internal/ external stakeholders The role involves acting as a champion for user-centred design and working very collaboratively across all development and testing teams in the business and with external suppliers. As a result, outstanding communication skills and the ability to prioritise will be of paramount importance.
