We are seeking to recruit a cleaner to work at the Space Centre in Preston, which provides multi-sensory environments where those with physical, learning or emotional difficulties may more easily acquire life skills and enjoy opportunities. Due to the nature of the services we deliver, we require a candidate with good interpersonal skills and high standards of cleaning. You will be responsible for sanitising the sensory environments, communal areas and office space. The role will also involve some general caretaking and health 'safety duties to ensure the centre is maintained to a very high standard. The post is for 9 hours per week (3x 3 hour shifts). Candidates will also be expected to work flexibly to cover holidays and sickness. You must be hard working, practical and be able to develop positive working relationships with people with a range of support needs.
