Vehicle Service Technician Location: Ashington Salary: 27,000 - 31,000 per annum Vacancy Type: Full Time, Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.00pm. Some overtime is expected, including one Saturday per month (8:00am 12:00 noon). Our client is a family run business based in Ashington, proudly serving the local community since 1948. The Role They are looking for a Vehicle Service Technician and MOT Tester, ideally with experience in franchised dealer training; however, this is not essential as full brand-specific training will be provided through the manufacturer's Training Academy. Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with colleagues across all departments, maintaining a professional and supportive working environment. Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance, and repairs to a high standard. Manage multiple tasks effectively within a busy workshop setting. Ensure excellent customer service and uphold the company's reputation for quality. Skills and Qualifications Proven experience in the motor vehicle industry (experience with Kia, Peugeot, Citron, or Vauxhall is advantageous).
