Kidd Aitken Legal Marketing ltd has worked with over 300 law firms to date, delivering both first-time and improved rankings for firms of all sizes and sectors in all major directories.About the Role We are currently recruiting for Consultants / Senior Consultants based in the UK and Europe.Key Accountabilities include: Draft and prepare law firm submissions (reports on law firms' strengths and recent activity in specific practice areas) for ranking-based legal directoriesInfluence, assist and advise a global portfolio of market-leading law firms with their submissionsExecute client communications with polite and professional language and behaviourTake ownership of client relationships - role modelling communication and execution for legal directories submissionsMaintain the highest standards of written English and ensure consistency and a strict adherence to house style across all submissionsConvey complex, legally-oriented messages in concise, business prose with marked attention to detailManage conflicting priorities in terms of meeting deadlines successfullyBe open and transparent in terms of your workload position and be prepared to support other colleagues where neededUtilise all required Kidd Aitken systems and applications to their fullest to support data accuracy and resource managementOffer strategic advice to influence clients to better their submission entries and to demonstrate the added value of our service and experienceReact swiftly and constructively to feedback from colleagues with regards to both writing style, formatting and client communicationsProvide support and guidance to other colleagues and provide assistance as required to both less experienced colleagues and those new to the businessConduct communications between a portfolio of law firm clients and ranking-based legal directories, including collecting input and answering queriesProactively seek to expand your knowledge of legal practice areas so as to continue to offer the best advice to our clients and represent excellent industry knowledgePerson Specification - Experience: Experience in a Consultant role or similar – essentialExperience of working in the Legal Marketing and / or Legal Directories sector – highly desirableExperience in providing a strategic and critical eye to the presentation of information – essentialPerson Specification - Skills: Interpersonal: Positivity – Coaching – Networking – Inspiring – Flexibility – CollaborationCritical Thinking: Problem-solving – Evaluating – Creative Thinking – Assessing – InfluencingCommunication: Active Listening – Written Communication – Verbal Communication – Editing – Presenting – Proof Reading – NegotiationTechnical: IT Literacy (Spreadsheets, Data Management, Office 365)Analytical: Interpreting – Information Processing – Organising – Investigating – Data AnalysisThis is a fully remote working role.
