Job Description

Our client located in Bromley is seeking an energetic and enthusiastic candidate to take ownership of the kitchen franchise at this busy venue. This is an exciting opportunity to utilise all your skills and passion within the Hospitality/Catering industry to build a successful small business to be proud of. This comes with the full support of management of the venue who will work alongside you to maximise the potential of the franchise. This opportunity would be ideal if you have the drive, determination and creativity to successfully expand and build on this established venues ability to offer outstanding menu options. The venue currently has 1,600 members utilising the amenities with additional functions as below: 10 weeks of childrens holiday camps a year Wakes/Wedding/Parties Saturday Evening Functions Thursday/Friday Evening Dinners The venue will charge the franchisee ten per cent plus VAT Total of 12% in total of turnover. The venue receives the money for the food and pays the caterer on a weekly basis. The opening hours will be agreed between the venue and the franchisee. Person Criteria: Experience within the catering industry Passionate about food and running their own small business. Be able to provide an excellent variety of menu choices for both adults and children. Excellent customer facing skills Computer literate/strong admin skills Reliable, flexible with excellent time management Understand stock control and limit waste Responsibility for additional staff when required Understand and comply with all Health & Safety legislation Strong understanding of Allergens The kitchen could be used for external events catered for by the franchisees own existing business or developing business, but the venue will require its percentage of the income derived. The venue provides all the equipment and maintenance of the equipment along with the gas and electricity used. Cleaning the kitchen and equipment, including oven, is the franchisee responsibility The venue will contribute 50% to an annual deep cleaning of the kitchen and oven.
