Role: Panel Wirer Location: Southampton Salary: Competitive, based on experience Duration: Permanent Overview: We are seeking an experienced Panel Wirer with 5+ years experience to join our workshop team. You will assemble and wire control and metering panels, interpret schematics, carry out testing, and deliver high-quality work on schedule. Key Responsibilities: Assemble and wire panels from technical drawings and schematics Perform mechanical assembly (drilling, cutting, installing components) Conduct in-house testing (FAT) and troubleshooting Mentor junior team members where needed Maintain quality, safety, and housekeeping standards Requirements: 5+ years panel wiring or electrical assembly experience Strong knowledge of schematics and wiring practices Skilled with hand tools and workshop machinery Ability to work independently and in a team Attention to detail and commitment to quality Desirable: Experience with control, metering, or industrial panels Familiarity with fault diagnosis and testing procedures Driving license Skills & Traits: Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated Excellent problem-solving and communication skills A great opportunity for a skilled Panel Wirer to take the next step in their career in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
