Job Description

Are you a SEND teaching assistant with experience of working with children with medical needs? If you are an SEND specialist, or have strengths being a learning support assistant for children with additional and medical needs, this is the role for you! We are looking for a learning support assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil in with multiple medical needs. Day to day tasks for this SEND teaching assistant role: Supporting with moving safely around school Supporting the child with learning Administrating medication Help with speech and language - knowledge of makaton would be useful. Some personal care This role would suit full or part time hours As a support assistant you will show strong pastoral and emotional support for your pupil, as well as being vigilant to their cues and needs which will mean able to think on the spot and being flexible with their timetable.
