OverviewPharmacy Technician Higher Level (SNIS)Band 5 | 1.0 WTE | 37 hours | Permanent33,427 - 41,424(Including weekend and public holiday commitments)About The RoleWe are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and proactive pharmacy technician to join our pharmacy clinical trials and paediatric clinical technician team delivering the highest quality pharmacy services across these areas. The post provides service to the Royal Hospital for Children & Young People which is co-located with the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh Pharmacy Department. You must be able to work independently as well as being able to work effectively as part of a team. As part of a supportive team of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, you will play an integral role in the multidisciplinary team, ensuring the safe and effective supply of medicines to patients.About YouWere looking for someone who:Registered with the General Pharmaceutical CouncilNational Certificate in Pharmacy Services or equivalentScottish Vocational Qualification Level 3 in Pharmacy ServicesHN Unit: Procedures for Pharmacy Dispensary Checking Technicians or Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician Award (provided by Buttercups or NPA, 2019 or before)HNC in Pharmacy Services Development and Management or equivalent experience. However, individuals who do not possess this qualification but can demonstrate equivalent professional experience may also be considered. In such instances, a Mapping Assessment Form must be completed and submitted as part of the application process.
