We are seeking to recruit a Primary Care Mental Health Nurse to join our established team in Midlothian.This post will be varied and challenging, working across services and will require excellent assessment skills, a significant degree of flexibility, good team working and a demonstrated ability to solve problems. The post will be managed within the Health and Social Care Partnership in Midlothian, providing outreach into GP Practices providing psychiatric assessments and interventions to those with mild to moderate mental health problems.A Non Medical Prescribing qualification would be advantageous but is not essential. This is an opportunity to truly influence and improve the primary care experience for people seeking mental health support within Midlothian.Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
